Ralph, Below is the response from Stanford Fire Marshal. Larry Gibbs Larry, I am not aware of any code requirements that would limit the length of a lab peninsula. Overall, for labs, the code does limit the length of travel distance to an exit or exit-access door to 75 feet . Not sure if this helps. Joe Joseph Leung, P.E.
